Our Mission

Founded in November 2024 in Fremont, California, A&M SIM develops high-fidelity and real-time simulation platforms for UAV operation, flight safety, and autonomous driving validation.

Our engineering work combines physics-based dynamics, environment modeling, sensor simulation, and controller integration for development and testing.

A&M SIM LLC is listed as a contributor in the DARPA Contributors Portal and supports participating teams in the DARPA Lift Challenge 2026 by providing expertise in UAV flight control systems (FCS) design and validation, as well as in modeling and evaluating UAV behavior under varying weather conditions.

What We Build Today

  • UAV dynamics and aerodynamics modeling for fixed-wing and multi-rotor systems.
  • Real weather and terrain ingestion for training, testing, and mission planning.
  • SCAS and manual control simulation for pilot training and safety validation.
  • SITL and HIL interfaces for closed-loop evaluation with real controllers.
  • Autonomous driving simulation with multi-sensor and HD map workflows.
